This tour is specifically designed for those who study Medieval art or are interested in the architecture of medieval religious buildings. Nothing but Cairo can offer a great collection of buildings with great variety, so we will take you back in time to the Medieval era to learn the history and art of this period, opening our hearts and minds to accept each other endorsed by peace and love.
Payment Policy:
Space will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 50%. What you pay now is only a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due upon arrival in cash or by credit card, although there is a 3% surcharge if you pay by credit card.
Day 1: Arrive at Cairo airport meet and assist by our representative, who will take you to your hotel.
Meals: No meal.
Day 2: Visit Coptic Cairo i.e the Hanging Church, the Coptic Museum, and the Church of Saints Sergius, halfway through the tour will have Egyptian brunch (Felafel & Tahini with tea with mint) in a local cafe, proceed to Virgin Mary Church in a musky area not usually visited by tourists. (alternative visit Simon the trainer church in moqattam hills) Drive back to your hotel.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 3: Visit Ibn Tulun Mosque, the Museum of Gayer Anderson, short drive to visit Sultan Hassan Mosque, El Refaey Mosque, drive to have your lunch in El Azhar garden viewing the view of the Citadel& the minarets of Cairo, after lunch drive to your hotel.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 4: Visit the high lights of El Moez Street the oldest st. In Cairo founded in the 10th century, is where the parades of the sultans used to take place and were keen to build huge mosques and other secular buildings, we will visit bab el fotouh (the northern gate to Cairo, the complex of Sultan Qalawun, the Mosque of Sultan Barquq and the famous bazaar of Khan el-Khalili, you will have your lunch in the bazaar, drive back to the hotel.

Day 5: Visit the Museum of Islamic art & the Museum of Medieval Manuscripts, proceed to have your lunch in Tabula restaurant, (we have another option which is Larin restaurant in Manial) proceed to visit Manial palace which use to belong to a member of Royal family and he designed his palace to be a museum for Islamic art, drive back to the hotel.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 6: Check out from the hotel to start your drive to Cairo airport to fly back home.
