You will get acquainted with local artisans who produce in-house designs that reflect Egyptian culture and heritage.
On this tour, your guide will escort you to one of the oldest and most famous markets in Egypt and the Middle East, “Khan El-Khalili” bazaar, in which you will find everything tourist souvenir related, from mother-of-pearl inlaid jewelry boxes to papyrus, to perfume, to spices, and the list goes on and on.

Meet your guide in front of Al-Azhar mosque and begin your unique tour by listening to stories narrated by your expert guide about the monuments en route, such as the aforementioned Al-Azhar mosque, the world’s oldest SURVIVING Islamic University since 969 AD.

Continue your tour through the underground pedestrian tunnel to the other side of the road where the famous tourist market of Khan El-Khalili is located, where you will find yourselves in the middle of a huge market full of shops that sell everything you may imagine having as a souvenir. Try your best to haggle as hard as you can because your guide won’t be willing to make enemies with the sellers and will as well try to keep a healthy work environment with the sellers. So, it is solely the customer’s responsibility to pay for what they buy because, very rarely, you may find a shop that has price tags, and even if you find such a shop, not all the products it displays will have price tags for a vent to raise the price in an indirect way.
Your guide is there to teach you about the history and culture of the place, not to guard you against being sold pricey stuff.

At your convenience, in the middle, end, or even beginning of the tour, ask your guide to recommend to you a good restaurant to eat at and chill out after a long haggle with the sellers.
