Day 01 – GIZA PYRAMIDS

Morning breakfast at your hotel and a pick-up by your guide, heading out on your full-day tour to the still-standing ancient wonder of the ancient world, the Giza Pyramids. Get the main zone tickets to enter the Giza plateau, which houses the 3 main pyramids, six secondary smaller pyramids, several tombs of non-royal and less royal status people, archaeological boats, and the wonderful ancient sphinx. Start by seeing and optionally entering the Cheops (“also known as Khufu”) pyramid from within (for an extra fee). Continue to the Panorama (the highest point on the Giza plateau) to enjoy taking as many astonishing and memorable pictures as you wish therein (on the way to the panorama view hill, you are going to see while on board of our vehicle, the middle and the third pyramids (the middle one belongs to King Chefren, son of Khufu, and the third one belongs to Mykerinos, King Khufu’s grandson).

Then head to the sphinx in a vehicle or, optionally, on a camel or horse (for an extra fee).

After the Sphinx, we go to have lunch in a nearby local but sort of classy restaurant, and finally, the tour will end with a drop-off at your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 01 – ISLAMIC CAIRO

Meet your guide in front of KFC in Tahrir Square and start your tour downtown, and then continue to the old Islamic Cairo. Enjoy wandering through the old medieval streets and thoroughfares of Islamic Cairo on this tour, and on the way to Islamic Cairo, see the nice historic modern buildings and square statues of downtown. Start by visiting the old ghuria market within this historic city of medieval Islamic Cairo and seeing some of its gems, such as Sultan al-Ghuri complex, Fakahani mosque, fountain-school of Muhammad Ali Pasha, al-Muayyad mosque, Bab Zweila Gate, the tentmakers market, etc.

Conclude your tour in a square full of good local restaurants to choose from for your lunch.

The tour concludes, and you return to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 03 – DEPARTURE TO CAIRO AIRPORT
